Tate Earns All-American Honors

The NJCAA volleyball All-American list for the 2023-2024 season was released this week, and it is no surprise that the lady lions' Christallynn Tate has made an appearance. Tate makes the 2nd Team All-American List, which is the first All-American title earned for the Lady Lions since Allie Hamsher in 2018.

Tate's NCTC career has included two regional tournament appearances, two conference runners-up finishes, 3 NTJCAC player of the week honors, and the NTJCAC Defensive Player of the Year honor, along with multiple stat milestones. In her career, Chris has played in 58 matches, contributing 433 kills, 196 blocks, 140 digs, and 17 aces.

"Chris has been a clutch player for us all season, as our starting middle blocker. Her passion for the game is so evident and she has worked hard to grow her skills and leadership ability this past year. We are so proud of her and cannot wait to see what is in store for her next," Assistant Coach, Macie Satterwhite states.
