After a winning week, the lady lion volleyball team earns another player of the week for the NTJCAC, with Kendall Toliver earning Defensive Player of the Week Honors. This stands as the lady lions' third consecutive week to earn player of the week titles, with sophomores Christallynn Tate and Shae Pruiett each earning multiple this season as well.

The freshman setter finished the week totaling 45 assists, 24 digs, 10 kills, 2 assisted blocks, and an ace. In the 3 set match win over Temple College, Toliver put up 32 assists, 7 digs, 5 kills, and an assisted block. Against Cisco College, Toliver had 17 digs, 13 assists, 5 kills, 1 ace, and an assisted block to help secure the clean sweep. 

With another win over SWCC, the lady lions look ahead to play Vernon College in their last home match on October 21st!
