Shaelyn Pruiett and Christallynn Tate earn another round of player of the week honors after helping the lady lions win matches against #8 ranked Weatherford College and 2022 Region V North champions Hill College.

Tate earns the offensive player of the week title, back to back, with this being her third time receiving the honor. The middle blocker put up 25 kills for the week, hitting over .300. Against Hill College, Tate had 13 kills hitting .375, with 4 solo blocks, 2 assisted blocks, 2 aces, and 4 digs. To help take the 5 set win against Weatherford, Tate earned 12 kills hitting .321, with 4 assisted blocks, 1 solo block, and 3 digs. 

Pruiett earns the defensive player of the week title with a triple-double match. Against Weatherford College, Pruiett added 22 assists, 11 digs, 11 kills, 2 aces, and 1 assisted block. For the three set sweep over Hill College, Pruiett put up 15 digs, 10 assists, 5 kills, 2 aces, and 1 assisted block.

Both players are nationally ranked in NJCAA with Tate sitting top 4 in solo blocks and top 10 in total blocks. Pruiett sits top 8 in serving aces and top 15 in total digs.
