On March 20th, the lady lions softball team won two home games against the Weatherford Coyotes. After a slow start, the lions came back to take the first victory after solid pitching efforts from Kacey White and Kennedy Schroeder. Standout batter Kylie Malone pushed the team forward with 2 RBI, earning two doubles, along with doubles from Raylea Parsons and Annie-Klein Allgood to add another RBI each to the scoreboard. In game two, Parsons and White held off the Coyotes, with Taryn Martin leading the way with a double and RBI. Allgood again contributed an RBI for the lady lions, in combination with an RBI from Mickyna Lindsey.

On March 23rd, the lady lions split with the Coyotes at Weatherford College, dropping game one 2-4 and then bouncing back to win game two 3-1. 

Next up for the lady lions is another conference double-header on the road against Vernon College on March 27th. Then, the lions take on the lady chaps at home on March 29th.
