The lady lion softball team starts up the Spring season with back to back home games. In their home opener on Wednesday, January 31^st, the lions took on Dodge City Community College for some double header action. The team wasted no time with a 3-0 win, rolling over to a strong 14-0 win in the second game. For the first games of February, the lady lions face Garden City Community College at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM on the 1^st.

Head Coach Van Hedrick and Assistant Coach Taylor Christian have high hopes for this season, after a 30 win season last Spring, and with nine sophomores returning. With great sophomore leadership, and a strong coaching duo, the softball team will be an exciting group to watch for NCTC.
