Freshman Brian Langat led the lion XC team at the Dallas Baptist University Old Glory Gallup Meet on October 5th.

Despite the Division I, II, and III competitors, Langat finished 22nd out of 379 total runners, surpassing multiple Lonestar Conference runners. Langat finished the race with a time of 24:47.9, and an average mile time of 4:59.3.

Following Langat was Brian Kiplangat, who ran a time of 25:33.1 for the lions.

Next up for Men's XC is the Regional Meet on October 28th in Hobbs, New Mexico.
