The Future Looks Bright for NCTC Baseball

Baseball season is here again and the future looks bright for the team. NCTC's athletes are ready to kick off the spring season under new head baseball coach, Shayne Kelley. Coach Kelley brings noteworthy experience to the table, formerly working with the Texas Rangers and Anaheim Angels. Kelley also worked as the assistant baseball coach at the University of Alabama, as well as Jacksonville State. The lions show excitement for a new season with Coach Kelley, along with returning assistant coach Austin Smith.

Starting the season against a competitive Rose State College, the lions hosted a double header on January 29th. The team looks to bounce back with more games to come in February. The lions look to play Coastal Bend College on February 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, next playing a Valentine's Day double header against Connors State College on February 14th starting at 1:oo PM.
