The lady lions look to host Ranger College at home for a conference matchup on October 9th. The game will begin at 6:00pm at the Lion Fieldhouse. Livestream is available to watch on the NCTC Volleyball Game Schedule.

After a week of tough matchups, the lions have two wins through conference play so far, and look to snatch another against Ranger.

On October 2nd, the lions dropped a thrilling 5 set match with nationally ranked #6 Weatherford College. Standouts for the match included middle blocker Kassidy Paul who earned 14 kills hitting .385, along with 3 assisted blocks. Emily Metzler, an outside hitter, was next up with 13 kills and 6 digs. Sophomore outside hitter Nikaia Lydia earned 10 kills and 12 digs, a double double match.

The lions next faced conference rival Hill College, dropping a competitive 5 set match. The triple threat of Lydia, Metzler, and Paul each contributed 13 kills for the lions, with Metzler and Lydia each playing another double double match with 23 digs and 15 digs, respectively. Libero Kendall Toliver put up 22 digs for the match, along with setter Martyna Lewinska who add 21 digs and 43 assists.

Finally, the lions fell to Temple College on the road, but look to face each of these teams again in the second round for rematches at home. 

Further ahead, the lady lions will matchup with Cisco College at Cisco on Friday, October 11th, and then return for the start of round 2 vs SWCC at home on the 13th.
