Satterwhite enters her 2nd season for the Lions this year. In her first season, Satterwhite helped lead the team to a 2nd place seeding in the Region V North tournament with 10 conference wins. 

Playing Accomplishments

Previously, Satterwhite played collegiate sand volleyball at Texas A&M University- Kingsville where she played on the 1's, 3's and 4's pair throughout her career. Satterwhite's accomplishments while at TAMUK include tying the 1's pair total wins in a season record with 17 and finishing in the top ten in individual career wins for the university in only three seasons. Satterwhite also played in the 3's pair when TAMUK finished as the AVCA DII national semifinalists in 2021. She also earned her Bachelors in psychology in her time there.

Macie's high school accomplishments include being a part of the first state championship volleyball team for Callisburg high school. With 3 total trips to the state tournament, Satterwhite earned 3 all-state selections as a six rotation outside hitter with an overall career record of 156-29.

Family

Coach Macie is currently engaged to Johnathon Harper, a manufacturing engineer at Safran. John is also a DII National Champion heptathlete and 6-time All American in the heptathlon and decathlon for Texas A&M University- Kingsville's track & field team. Outside of work, Coach Macie enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family and her German Shorthaired Pointer named Deets.
