Game 1

Big First Inning Propels North Central Texas Lions Win Over Eastern Oklahoma

12 runs in the first inning led North Central Texas Lions past Eastern Oklahoma 21-2 on Wednesday. North Central Texas Lions's big inning was driven by singles by Nixon Brannan and Kevin Perez, home runs by Kaddin Mikulik and Josh Blankenship, a walk by Will Sebera, by Sam Haigwood, a groundout by Colby Seltzer, and an error on a ball put in play by Clay Stevens.

North Central Texas Lions opened up scoring in the first inning, when Seltzer grounded out, scoring one run.

Zeke Wood was credited with the victory for North Central Texas Lions. He surrendered two runs on two hits over five innings, striking out ten.

Jacob Savage took the loss for Eastern Oklahoma. He went one-third of an inning, allowing ten runs on four hits.

North Central Texas Lions hit five home runs on the day. Mikulik had a long ball in the first inning. Sebera had a homer in the fourth inning. Perez had a four bagger in the third inning. Seltzer went for the long ball in the second inning. Blankenship had a four bagger in the first inning.

North Central Texas Lions totaled 14 hits. Brannan, Stevens, Perez, and Sebera each had multiple hits for North Central Texas Lions. Stevens and Brannan each managed three hits to lead North Central Texas Lions.

 

Game 2 

Eastern Oklahoma Captures Lead Early To Defeat North Central Texas Lions

North Central Texas Lions fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 9-4 loss to Eastern Oklahoma on Wednesday. Eastern Oklahoma took the lead on a grand slam in the first inning.

In the first inning, Eastern Oklahoma got their offense started when Gray W. homered on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring four runs.

Frank T earned the win for Eastern Oklahoma. He lasted four innings, allowing two hits and two runs while striking out four and walking one. Feazle threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Dawson Beard took the loss for North Central Texas Lions. He lasted four innings, allowing three hits and five runs while striking out seven.

North Central Texas Lions smacked two home runs on the day. Clay Stevens had a dinger in the seventh inning. Kaddin Mikulik put one out in the third inning.

Colby Seltzer went 2-for-2 at the plate to lead North Central Texas Lions in hits. North Central Texas Lions didn't commit a single error in the field. Zane Bandfield had the most chances in the field with 11.

Eastern Oklahoma racked up eight hits in the game. Gray W. and Tyler Johnson all had multiple hits for Eastern Oklahoma. Gray W. led Eastern Oklahoma with three hits in four at bats.

 

Game 3

North Central Texas Lions Drops Game To Eastern Oklahoma After Late Score

North Central Texas Lions lost the lead late in a 5-3 defeat to Eastern Oklahoma on Friday. The game was tied at three with Eastern Oklahoma batting in the bottom of the fifth when Gray W. drew a walk, scoring one run.

In the second inning, Eastern Oklahoma got their offense started when Tyler Johnson hit a solo homer.

Frank led things off on the mound for Eastern Oklahoma. He surrendered three runs on four hits over seven innings, striking out ten.

Rhett Kouba was on the hill for North Central Texas Lions. He allowed four hits and four runs over four and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Dave Johnson threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.

North Central Texas Lions tallied four hits in the game. Will Sebera and Clay Stevens all managed multiple hits for North Central Texas Lions. Stevens and Sebera all had two hits to lead North Central Texas Lions.

Mac McCroskey went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Eastern Oklahoma in hits.

 

Game 4 

Brannan's Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In North Central Texas Lions's Victory Over Cowley County

North Central Texas Lions took Friday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 4-3 walk-off victory over Cowley County. North Central Texas Lions trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Nixon Brannan singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Cowley County scored three runs in the third inning, but North Central Texas Lions still managed to pull out the victory. The offensive firepower by Cowley County was led by Halstead, Reeder, and Kade Self, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Morris Austin pitched North Central Texas Lions to victory. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out one and walking one. Jordan Powell threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Dowd took the loss for Cowley County. He went one-third of an inning, allowing zero runs on one hit and walking zero.

Jarod Seals started the game for North Central Texas Lions. He surrendered three runs on five hits over four innings, striking out four and walking one Stephenson started the game for Cowley County. He went three and a third innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out eight

Clay Stevens, Brannan, Sam Haigwood, Zane Bandfield, Kevin Perez, and Josh Blankenship each managed one hit to lead North Central Texas Lions.

Stephens went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead Cowley County in hits.
