Game 1 

North Central Texas College Clings To Victory As Temple College Nearly Erases 5-Run Deficit

Despite seeing its five-run lead whittled down by the end, North Central Texas College still held off Temple College for a 7-6 victory on Wednesday. Temple College scored four runs in the failed comeback on a double by Potvin and a single by Molinaro.

Kemuel Thomas-Rivera collected four hits in four at bats to help lead North Central Texas College to victory. Thomas-Rivera homered in the first, singled in the third, singled in the sixth, and singled in the seventh.

North Central Texas College got things moving in the first inning, when Thomas-Rivera homered on a 2-0 count, scoring three runs.

North Central Texas College notched three runs in the seventh inning. North Central Texas College offense in the inning was led by Thomas-Rivera and Spencer Bloom, all driving in runs in the inning.

North Central Texas College Grabs Lead In Extra Innings To Defeat Temple College

North Central Texas College stole the lead late in the game in an 8-2 victory over Temple College on Wednesday. The game was tied at two with North Central Texas College batting in the top of the tenth when Tyrese Clayborne singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

North Central Texas College secured the victory thanks to six runs in the tenth inning. Clayborne, Spencer Bloom, Josh Blankenship, and Trevor Summers powered the big inning with RBIs.

North Central Texas College fired up the offense in the first inning, when Blankenship grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Temple College tied things up at two when Morris Austin induced #30 to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Quincy Cooper earned the victory on the pitcher's mound for North Central Texas College. He went two-thirds of an inning, allowing zero runs on zero hits and walking zero. Chase Glover and Austin entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Easterling was on the mound for Temple College. He surrendered eight runs on 12 hits over ten innings, striking out seven.

Spencer Sawin started the game for North Central Texas College. He went eight innings, allowing one run on seven hits, striking out three and walking one

North Central Texas College tallied 13 hits in the game. Bloom, Tanner Goodwin, Nick Tamez, and Clay Stevens each collected multiple hits for North Central Texas College. Bloom led North Central Texas College with three hits in five at bats. North Central Texas College was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Bloom had the most chances in the field with ten.

Temple College collected ten hits. Puls and Fischer each racked up multiple hits for Temple College. Puls went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Temple College in hits.
