North Central Texas College Drops Game To Ranger Junior College After Late Score

North Central Texas College stayed in it until the end, but Ranger Junior College pulled away late in a 5-1 victory on Saturday. The game was tied at one with Ranger Junior College batting in the bottom of the fifth when Tucker Burton singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

North Central Texas College fired up the offense in the first inning. Tyrese Clayborne's sac fly scored one run for North Central Texas College.

Ranger Junior College evened things up at one in the bottom of the second inning. Paz drew a walk, scoring one run.

Smith took the win for Ranger Junior College. He lasted seven innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out six.

Spencer Bloom, Nick Tamez, Clay Stevens, and Kemuel Thomas-Rivera all had one hit to lead North Central Texas College.

North Central Texas College Walks Away The Victor After Tense Back-And-Forth Against Ranger Junior College

North Central Texas College and Ranger Junior College played an exciting back-and-forth game that saw North Central Texas College coming away with a 10-7 victory. The game was tied at seven with North Central Texas College batting in the top of the eighth when Tanner Goodwin tripled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. North Central Texas College collected eight hits and Ranger Junior College had 11.

Ranger Junior College took an early lead in the second inning. Paz grounded out, scoring one run.

Ranger Junior College knotted the game up at seven in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Tucker Burton singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Ranger Junior College scored three runs in the fifth inning. Ranger Junior College's big inning was driven by singles by Victor Bueno and Noah Winkelman and a fielder's choice by Kaleb Thompson.

North Central Texas College tallied eight hits on the day. Goodwin and Nick Tamez all collected multiple hits for North Central Texas College. Tamez and Goodwin each managed two hits to lead North Central Texas College. North Central Texas College was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Tyler Torres made the most plays with 13.
